Park Hills, MO – University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) and Mineral Area College (MAC) signed an updated articulation agreement enabling MAC students to easily transfer to the UMSL School of Social Work. On September 20, administrators from both institutions gathered for the signing in the Fine Arts Theater Foyer on the Mineral Area College campus in Park Hills. MAC and UMSL have had a long-standing partnership that enables MAC graduates to easily transfer into the UMSL’s Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)

Center for Independent Living recently wrapped up this round of their “Ramp It Up for L.I.F.E.” campaign by selecting a winner from their Summertime Christmas Raffle – an effort to help generate funds for supplies needed to build mobility ramps for disabled and/or elderly community members. During the L.I.F.E. Center’s Summer Movie Night’s showing of Aquaman on August 20th, the staff drew a random name from the raffle entries and pulled out a winner - Deborah “Debby” Robinson of Farmington.
Chaumette Vineyards & Winery is announcing the opening of the Chaumette Hiking Center in Ste. Genevieve, which provides gourmet dining for guests along their two-mile loop trail, the Norton Trail.
