Street Milling and Paving to Begin in Farmington, Missouri in Spring 2024

Farmington, Missouri (April 19, 2024) – The City of Farmington plans to begin annual roadwork this spring. Residents should note this will impact traffic in some areas.

City street crews will begin milling roadways in April 2024. There will be milling in both residential and commercial areas including Columbia Street, Washington Street, and Market Street. For a full listing of streets, please visit farmington-mo.gov/public-works.

Public Works Director, Larry Lacy, said “The milling will allow us to prep the roads for paving and will keep the finished surface of the street at the correct elevation.”

Beginning in early May 2024, Lead Belt Materials will begin paving the roadways. Lacy estimates the paving should take about a month.
