As we heard at our most recent Business & Community luncheon, the Farmington Police Department is dedicated to fostering strong relationships with the business community. Keeping the business’s current contact information up to date is essential for officers to provide the best possible service. Additionally, a Letter of Enforcement can help resolve issues such as nuisances, ordinance violations, or criminal incidents on a business owner's property more efficiently. This letter authorizes law enforcement to take swift action without needing to contact the business owner each time an incident occurs, allowing them to address problems promptly. It also grants permission for law enforcement to participate in any legal proceedings related to the violation. Completing these attached forms will allow officers to better protect your business property.

As always, the department encourages community members to reach out with any questions, concerns, or issues impacting their businesses. By working together, they can help maintain a safe and welcoming environment that makes the area a great place to live, work, and shop. Feel free to contact the Business Resource Officers, Ryan Miller (rmiller@farmington-mo.gov) Aaron Bowles (abowles@farmington-mo.gov) or Pierce Wynn (pwynn@farmington-mo.gov).
