2024 SCARECROW DECORATING CONTEST Sponsored by KREI/KTJJ Radio & Help The Hungry Bake Sale The Fall season is fast approaching and it’s time to decorate! Please join us in making downtown Farmington a festive place for Blues, Brews, & BBQ.. The entry fee is $20.00 and 100% of the fee will be donated to “Help the Hungry Bake Sale”. Your entry fee includes the following supplies.
● 1x2 cross bar for the body (5 foot)
● 1x2 three foot bar
● ½ bale of straw
You may register your entry and pick up your supplies at the radio station, Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm.

To be eligible for bragging rights and the traveling trophy, teams must be registered with the paid entry fee by Wednesday, September 18th.

Make checks made payable to “Help the Hungry”.

Judging will take place at 4pm on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 you must have your entry completed by that time (no exceptions). Please do not put valuable items on your display, as they could become damaged by weather conditions or even vandalism.

Scarecrows will be up for both Blues, Brews & BBQ, Homecoming Parade and Halloween.

Your scarecrows must be disassembled and cleaned up by Monday, November 8, 2024.

Have fun, be creative and original! You are encouraged to use the lamp posts located on Columbia Street in the downtown area of Farmington.
