Good Shepherd is a child welfare agency operating under the umbrella of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. We provide Foster Care, Adoption and Pregnancy and Parenting Support services in the community. We also have a small shelter program for pregnant and parenting teens on our St. Louis campus. We have been a Foster Care provider under contract with the State of Missouri Children’s Division since the mid 1990’s. We currently operate within a consortium of agencies called St. Louis Partners. Our Partner agencies include Lutheran Family and Children Services, Our Little Haven and Bringing Families Together. Our Foster Care contract for the St. Louis region was recently expanded to include ST. Francois and Washington counties. With the expansion , Good Shepherd will be developing an office space and hiring staff in Farmington, MO. Our Partnership will begin providing case management services to St. Francois county children and families as of October 1. We will build to a caseload of 60 children by December 31, 2020. In addition to case management, we will also develop foster and kinship homes for the children in your community.
