Join members of the Farmington Regional Chamber and All Saints Episcopal Church in a celebration! The event will take place at noon on Thursday, December 7th at the church, located at the corner of W. Columbia St and Black Knight Dr in Farmington.
All Saints Episcopal Church has built a Blessing Box for the Farmington community! The Blessing Box is located near the front door of the church and everyone is welcome to participate in the use and donation of items in the Blessings Box. The concept of the Blessing Box is simple - the box is a miniature food pantry receiving items from those who want to donate, and offering it to those who need them. There is no lock on the Box and whether you are taking or giving, you can utilize it 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Church and community members are encouraged to bring toothpaste, toothbrushes, band-aids, soap and shampoo, diapers, hygiene items, and non-perishable foods to the celebration and throughout the year.
It is the church's hope to add another Blessing Box in Farmington in 2018. In addition, there is hope the Box will have produce available next spring and summer from area gardens.
