The KFMO B104 Night the Farmington Water Park will take place on Sunday, July 30th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. All proceeds from the annual event has always benefited a local charity. This year, funds will go to Camp Hope. Camp Hope provides FREE outdoor adventures to combat wounded veterans of the War on Terror and active-duty combat-wounded Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Sailors.
“Camp Hope was an easy choice to be the beneficiary of our event,” said KFMO B104 Vice President and General Manager Larry Joseph. “The work they do with veterans is second to none. Our stations are always looking at ways to promote and help great organizations in our area like Camp Hope.”
“We survive solely on donations so fund raisers like this one and others that area businesses and organizations have done for us are so much appreciated,” said Donna Lucas Events Coordinator for Camp Hope. “Not a single person at Camp Hope gets paid. We all are there because we want to be and it’s very rewarding.”
Admission that evening is open to the public and a minimum donation of $1 for the two hour swim. There will also be additional fund raisers during the event including a Ping Pong Ball Race down the Lazy River. Charlie Berry’s Music Unlimited DJ Service will, once again, play fun Rock music to swim to. KFMO/ B104 Radio and the Farmington Water Park have been putting on this event for different charities for the last 10 years.
