A Heartsaver CPR AED course will be offered on Thursday, September 18, from 5-8 p.m. and will feature group interaction and hands-on coaching and feedback from the instructor.
Course instructor Randall Davis of the St. Francois County Ambulance District says, “The Heartsaver CPR AED course teaches adult CPR and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) along with how to call for help and how to relieve choking.”
The course is intended for anyone with limited or no medical training who would like to be trained in CPR. The course is accredited by the American Heart Association and designed to meet OSHA requirements, and students will receive a course completion card that is valid for two years.
