CASA Open House & Ribbon-cutting

CASA Ribbon Cutting and Open House!
CASA is thrilled to invite you to celebrate this significant occasion of the new CASA House with our cherished community, and it would be even more meaningful with your attendance! Food trucks will be on site for lunch.

A significant portion of this house will offer space where children in foster care are welcomed into a comfortable trauma-informed center, where they can spend time with a CASA volunteer. This activity area will contain a safe place with child-friendly seating, games, activities, sensory items, and more. Each new foster child who enters the CASA House will be given items as needed through the kids’ closet, and a snack or meal. The activity center will be a space where siblings who are separated from each other during the foster care process can visit with one another in a space that supports their confidentiality and dignity. Also a place where parents can visit with their children during visitation time and interact as a family in a home setting to strengthen parenting skills and family bonds.
 
This is a place where children feel safe, and gaps in services are filled for our foster children. With this CASA House we will work toward our goal of serving every foster child.
